Hello! My name is Claire Austin, an independent, inclusive wedding celebrant, based in South Devon. I offer personalised, joyful and modern wedding ceremonies tailored to each couple's love story. With over 12 years of experience in the wedding industry with my bridal accessories brand, I love offering a bespoke and unique experience you will treasure forever. I aim to bring a fun and lighthearted atmosphere to every ceremony, celebrating the love and commitment of each of my couples in a memorable way. Every script is written completely from scratch by me, so whether it's a wedding ceremony or a vow renewal you're looking for, you're in the right place.

No venue, or time of day is off-limits. Whether you dream of exchanging vows on a beach at sunrise, in a garden, at your family farm, or beneath the stars—I'll be there to guide you through it all. Your ceremony can be as intimate or grand as you desire, in the setting that feels most like you. I only conduct one ceremony a day so there are no time constraints.

How Does it Work?

Get in touch via the contact form on my website to see if your date is available.

We will arrange an in-person meeting or video call to discuss your wedding plans and I will send you a quote via email afterwards.

If you're happy to go ahead, I will send you a contract and an invoice for 50% of the total fee (non refundable). When this is signed and paid, your date will be written into my diary!

A few months (or weeks depending on how far in advance you book) in advance of your wedding, I will send you a questionnaire to fill out. This will be asking questions all about your love story and important elements of the ceremony you would like included. We will create your perfect ceremony together. This can also be done in person or over video call.

I shall write the first draft of your wedding ceremony and send it to you to look over. I will go back and forth until you are 100% happy with it. A final video call or in person meeting for a logistics meeting.

The remaining balance (non refundable) will be due 12 weeks before the ceremony or on production of the final script (whichever is sooner).

I will conduct a venue visit and a rehearsal can be scheduled with you present (or we can run through the ceremony structure over video call instead)
